My Beautiful Family Tree....

This Christmas has me thinking back to days gone by. Those who use to be so much a part of our lives and for various reasons are no longer near us. Nostalgia I believe is the word. According to dictionary.com the definition of nostalgia is - a wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one's life, to one's home or homeland, or to one's family and friends; a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time. So this perfectly describes my recent mood. Melancoly, Misty, Blue...I miss my grandparents, my father inlaw, my friends Joany, Susie and oh so many others that were apart of molding my life. So I've gone back to some basics as far as gift giving goes. Doing lots of homemade things. Got an awesome one in the works right now involving old window sills and photos...I'll share it when I'm done. Several of my tree ornaments are handmade. The most recent addition is scrapbook pictures-old and new. They really brightened my tree and brought some great memories back. And so I present:
